Greetings in the Name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ from whom all blessings flow. God is good and has truly been a blessing to us this year at Bibleway World Outreach (BWO). He has bestowed upon us many matchless blessings. We have seen souls saved, healed, and delivered; and God is yet adding to the church. God has added instruments with musicians, a website (www.biblewaywo.org), and a YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/user/pastorbriandharris) where sermons, song clips, and baptisms can be viewed.
On January 25th of this year we celebrated our 1st anniversary with a one day “Ignite the Vision Conference” which was preceded by a 21 day church fast. God has moved in tremendous ways because of the fast. During this time God had given me a vision to speak to the church. He spoke 2 words to me, “Growth and Community.” There is promise of growth for the church, both spiritually and in membership. It is our duty to thrust ourselves into the community “And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled” Luke 14:23 and serve where we are needed, which is the duty of the church. Since that time we have been exhausting all of our resources to meet the needs of God’s people and we are doing whatever it takes not to fail the mission which God has set before us.
In April of 2009, the women of BWO celebrated their first annual “Purple, Pearl and Praise Conference. The events were kicked on April 11, 2009 with a Prayer Breakfast, where several powerful women of God prayed over written prayer requests and verbally proclaimed victory for family, government, healing, salvation, and leadership. Coffee, juice, pastries, and speakers weren't the only thing on the menu; there was literally a Holy Ghost explosion in the midst of all of the prayer. It was reported that one of the attendees of the Prayer Breakfast testified to being healed in the midst. On April 25, 2009, the first Women’s Tea occurred. All the women that attended the Tea stepped into the Victorian Period of the 18th century. The atmosphere was a true replica of a High Tea in a Victorian Village in England. Not only was there real tea and finger sandwiches, but a family of three were in attendance as special guest to the women of BWO. Amy Quarles and her three children are residents of Hope’s Cottage a shelter in Somerville, Tennessee. The mission of Hope’s Cottage is to assist homeless families in their pursuit of a quality life and fighting chance for continued success. The women of BWO along with several organizations such as Wal-Mart, McAllister’s, Chick Fil-a, Enterprise Rent-a-Car, and a host of others from different states dug deep and provided Amy and her children with about 6 months of needed living supplies. Since that time, BWO has adopted the Quarles’ family into the BWO church family. We will be there to aid to them as they fight to turn their circumstances around. Amy Quarles and her family was just recently featured at a local Memphis Redbirds game were she had the opportunity to tell her story; the BWO church family was in attendance with our support. On April 26, 2009, the Women’s Conference was culminated with an explosive Women’s Day service, where God truly blessed.
